About Aladdin

Beginning as Chicago’s Mantle Lamp Company in 1908 and specialising in smoke-free kerosene lamps, stoves and thermal food storage containers, they soon became known as the maker of ‘Aladdin’s lamps’, so in 1914, they chose to adopt the name Aladdin for a new arm of the company making a range of vacuum-insulated bottles and flasks. In the 1960s they developed insulated food storage for airline and hospital catering, but they’re still best known to the general public for their drinks containers, especially the super-efficient insulated ones.
