An Italian classic that’s traditionally served at Christmas and New Year, pandoro is a deliciously soft, yellow-coloured sweet bread that features an eight-pointed star shape and is dusted with icing sugar to resemble the Italian Alps. This mini version, or pandorino, is made from natural Italian ingredients and has been naturally leavened in the slow, traditional way to ensure its distinctive fluffy character. Delicious sliced and served with a cup of tea or coffee, or a glass of sweet dessert wine, it also makes a fantastic luxurious dessert when served with cream.
