Now all you tea lovers can see at a glance when your brew reaches the favoured shade for your perfect cuppa, thanks to this clear glass teapot. Made of toughened borosilicate glass that’s heat-resistant up to 150°C, it has a stainless steel lid and lift-out infuser, a long spout and a strong easy-to-hold handle for comfortable pouring.
Eliminating the need for a tea strainer, simply pop your favourite tea leaves in the infuser basket, add your hot water and allow to steep until your brew is just so – then lift out the infuser basket with the tea leaves inside and pour the perfect cup of char.

I love to use loose tea in a glass teapot as you can see exactly how strong the tea is, but I was very disappointed by this teapot, bought after the infuser in our previous one broke. The problem with it is that it is not possible to remove the infuser when the tea is ready and then replace the lid, as the lid does not fit the teapot without the infuser inside. This means that the tea will become stewed and bitter as it continues to brew, or the tea will cool down fast when the infuser and lid are removed. I returned it, and bought another one from a high street department store.

This was a perfect teapot which I really loved. Unfortunately though it only lasted a month, it took one minor knock on my draining board and it cracked, leaving a gaping hole, as the glass was so thin and brittle. If only the glass was made thicker and stronger this would have been an excellent teapot, what a great shame. Sorry Lakeland, I've bought lots of quality items from you in the past, but not this item I'm afraid.
