Unlike many similar versions of the traditional waiter’s friend, rather than a fiddly little (plasters at the ready) penknife-type foil cutter, this nifty corkscrew features a pull-out cutter with four cutting discs that fits neatly over the top of your bottle and slices through the foil cap with ease as you turn it. With an extra-long stainless steel worm for easier and smoother cork removal, and a crown cap bottle opener too, it’s also perfect for popping in your picnic basket on days out to open that cheeky bottle of pinot grigio that somehow found its way in there.

First impressions were very good indeed. Later I found that different wine bottle necks gave different results with the foil cutter ... had to resort to a knife for one bottle.
Everyone should have one, it’s amazing And great for camping too
