A great product at a great price. So much easier to use than a fine grater. Wasn't sure what the other part of this tool was for until I read the reviews since the cardboard packaging doesn't tell you what it does; apparently its for removing strips from fruit for decoration (like a Canelle knife). Anyway, it did exactly what I wanted so full marks.

I could not get this to work. A pity because I hate zesting lemons. So it lay in a drawer until the penny dropped. Hold the fruit vertically and scrape downwards. A perfect results in no time at all. Wonderful!
Good zester, nice and strong and easy to handle. I bought this for zest I use as decoration on top of cakes as it gives nice pieces and not too fine for what I need
I bought this after my old one disappeared. Works absolutely fine and I recommend it.
Ergonomic handle makes it very comfortable to use. It makes getting the zest removed either as fine strands or as ‘bootlace’ strands really easy.
