It takes a really special Christmas pud to stand out from the crowd at testing time, and this one was so good it instantly got our seal of approval... we wouldn't put our name to it otherwise – even Joanna from our Buying team, who doesn’t usually like Christmas pudding, was impressed. A moist Christmas pudding, this traditional-style recipe has been tweaked and improved just for us; packed with fruits, flavoured and preserved with Irish stout and French brandy – just add brandy butter or ice cream to serve. Roll on Christmas Day!
Serves 4-6 and can be microwaved or steamed.
