Have had no problems with this rusting or lack of suction. Just what we needed. Took a while to notice the lever that is used for suction but once attached to tiles no issues.
There were no reviews for this product either here or on another department store website. After 4 unsuccessful attempts to attach the dish to my cleaned bathroom tiles, I gave up. The auction lasted for a couple of minutes. I will be returning it. If I had looked at the reviews on a major online retailer's website, have would not have bothered buying it.

Disappointing. I really like OXO Good Grips products and this is the first time I’ve had an issue with one. I have large non porous glazed tiles in my shower room. I’ve cleaned them and used a lime scale remover but still the soap dish won’t stay put! Nothing other than a tiny bar of soap on it. I’ve given up as I’m afraid it will damage my shower tray or expensive glass screen. I bought it online and don’t know when I will be able to get to a Lakeland shop to return it. A real waste of time and money

I bought two of these and had no problem with attaching them to the shower wall. Unfortunately, they rusted very quickly and and are so unsightly I've had to remove them. Why DO manufacturers use materials that rust when the product is being used in a wet environment?!
The rusting may be caused by prolonged contact with bleach, but we're sorry if this isn't the case and we're sorry that it rusted so quickly.
