Cutlery and utensil stores take up a lot of space in your drawers – in fact, you usually need a whole drawer for each. But this naturally beautiful Compact Bamboo Organiser from Joseph Joseph does the job of both in the space of one.

How does it do that, we hear you say? Simple. By overlapping the cutlery compartments on top of each other to take up half the usual space needed to store a family-sized cutlery set – so the other half is left free for your utensils.

There are three sloping compartments for knives, forks and spoons, and two smaller ones at the top for teaspoons, olive skewers and other small items; a full-length compartment for large utensils such as turners and spatulas; and two smaller compartments for can openers, corkscrews and the like.
