Sometimes less is more, but not when ice cream is involved! Instead of choosing between your two favourite ice cream flavours, you can enjoy both at the same time with our Double Pot Ice Cream Maker, making two pots of deliciously creamy ice cream, frozen yoghurt or sorbet in just 30 minutes.
What’s in the box
Easy to use
First of all, the freezer pots will need to go in the freezer for 8-12 hours – we suggest keeping the bowls in the freezer all the time so you can enjoy delicious ice cream whenever you fancy. When you’re ready to start mixing, add a paddle to each pot, then place first the lid then the power unit on top and click into place. Then simply press the on switch to set the paddles in motion, pour your prepared, chilled mixtures through the holes in the lid, and let the machine work its magic… in 30 minutes you can be tucking into ice cream, frozen yoghurt or sorbet. And if you can’t wait to indulge yourself, you don’t even need to transfer your yummy frozen treat into a bowl – you can just grab the pots by their handles – they won’t be cold, so they’re easy to hold – and dig right in with a spoon.
The cleverly designed lids allow you to add extra ingredients like nuts and chocolate chips while your ice cream is churning, and as the lids are transparent, you can watch the transformation and check on your frozen desserts’ progress.

As our Double Pot Ice Cream Maker makes frozen yoghurt and sorbets too, you can make both traditional ice cream and healthier alternatives or dairy-free frozen treats at the same time, catering for different tastes and dietary requirements.

In the instructions booklet you’ll find four delicious recipes to get you started, including classic favourites vanilla ice cream and mint choc chip ice cream, as well as two dairy-free options: a scrumptious dairy-free strawberry ice cream and a refreshing lemon sorbet. Enjoy!

This was purchased for a family member, they seem very pleased with the product, only problem is the time it takes to actually get the ice cream made, have to be organised and thinking ahead to ensure you have the ice cream to hand when you need it.
Bought this during the first lockdown at it's full price and didn't actually use it until recently - if I had used it earlier I 100% would have returned it. I already knew about the bad reviews so I was incredibly and careful and followed the instructions exactly. Froze the puts for 24 hours, refrigerated the ingredients (no alcohol) for 24 hours, followed every instruction - and it just doesn't work. The ingredients looked no different when they came out, just completely liquid. I expected a lot more from Lakeland to be honest.

I bought this as I liked the thought of two different flavours at the same time. I've tried this a few times and both times the ice cream hasn't thickened. I to left the pots in the freezer for over 24 hours and still didn't work. Really need to send this back but no one answering the phones. I'll go to Windermere when I'm up that way with work very soon
Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear this hasn't worked as well as expected. We've spoken to our buying team who advised that the best way to get perfect ice cream is to cool down the mixture overnight in the fridge before use and then to slowly pour the mixture into the bowls while the paddles are turning. We've been in touch via email to help further.
I bought this as there is only 2 of us, I liked the idea of making two different flavours. The first time I used it, the mixes didn't thicken much at all. The second time, I was very careful to chill everything. The pots were in the freezer for 24 hours and the mix in the fridge overnight. After 45 mins churning, I was able to pour the mixtures out. I sent it back and bought one with a compressor, which is brilliant

The Ice Cream Maker works well however in the handbook it would be better if right at the beginning of the instructions it said DO NOT USE A METAL SPOON. I damaged mine by not reading right through to the end of the instructions. It is easy to scratch the inside so be careful.
