12 Edible Paper Cupcake Cases

Product number: 62781

Eliminating the need to collect up paper cases once the party’s over, these Edible Paper Cupcake Cases are a delightfully different way to bake family favourites and teatime treats, and they’re ideal for picnics when you’re trying to keep litter to a minimum.

A fuss-free way to bake muffins, butterfly cakes and fairy cakes, you don’t even need a muffin tray to bake your treats… Just spread the cases out on a flat-bottomed baking tray, pour your cake mix into them when the oven’s reached temperature and pop the batch straight in to bake – because they’re nice and thin, you shouldn’t notice any difference in timings, but the good old-fashioned skewer test will be your friend, as always.

Similar to rice paper, these cupcake cases are made from potato starch, with a touch of sweetener and a hint of vanilla added to make them taste great too. They can be decorated with edible inks if you fancy taking a little time to draw patterns onto each case, or you could write your party guests’ names on the side to make sure everyone gets a fair share.

Being made from potato starch, they’re naturally gluten free.

"Edible Cupcake Cases"

These were very easy to use and quite big. My grandchildren liked them but I thought they took away the taste of the cake. I would buy them again for my grandchildren

"Great product but pricey"

I received these as a sample to try and found them excellent to use. The packaging is good and the cases are attractive in appearance. They are easier to use than paper cases because they are more sturdy and hold their shape when filled. They are also easier to remove from the baking tin once cooked. They have no real flavour and very little texture so neither detract from or add to to the eating experience of the baked product. I used them for sweet muffins but they’d probably be okay for savoury ones. However, I would not pay full price for them because paper cases are so much cheaper.

"Edible cake cases"

we tried these Edible cake cases but it was quite strange. they look like real cake cases so feels like you don't eat them. 4 of us tried them 1 of us liked them but the rest of us found the paper a bit on the thick side. but not unpleasant. worth a try.
