Williamson Earl Grey Tea 40 Bags in Blue Elephant Tin

Product number: 62767

With the subtle aroma of Mediterranean bergamot oranges (a citrus fruit that looks a bit like a lime) and delicate taste of the finest tea leaves, a cup of Williamson Earl Grey Tea is the ultimate way to unwind after a long day, and is the perfect accompaniment to a sophisticated afternoon tea.

The ideal gift for anyone who appreciates a quality brew, the premium tea bags are housed in a beautifully ornate blue caddy with an elephant design and embossed detailing, making it a thoughtful offering for animal fans, too.

A brand synonymous with quality, Williamson grow the tea used for these very teabags on their own farm in Kaimosi, Kenya, picking only the bud and top two leaves of the finest tips, as this is where the finest flavours are found. The tea leaves are then combined with oil of Bergamot to create the distinctive earl grey taste, ready for you to enjoy.

About Williamson Teas

A fifth generation tea-farming family with their own plantations in Kenya, Williamson’s Teas guarantee quality from bush to cup. Ethically sourced, the Williamson Tea Foundation ensures that all their farmers are fairly paid and work and live in good conditions.

About Earl Grey Tea

One of the most famous British varieties of tea, Earl Grey is renowned as a refreshingly delicate blend of black Ceylonese teas, flavoured with aromatic bergamot orange, a blend that can be enjoyed at any time of the day, with or without milk. Legend has it that the original blend was created for Charles, Earl Grey around the time that he was Prime Minister in the 1830s, and that it was carefully blended to suit the hard water that supplied his family home in Northumberland.
