Ready to use as soon as you unpack it, a Roccbox oven comes with everything you need to cook with gas or wood. Both burners click in with a simple twist action, and the only decision is what kind of fuel to use – will you opt for a traditional wood-fired pizza, or the convenience of an adjustable gas flame?

Super-efficient cooking

Capable of cooking a 12" pizza in just 60 seconds, Roccbox reaches temperatures of up to 500°C, giving you the perfect balance of thin, crispy bases and perfectly charred crusts. The in-built thermostat lets you see at a glance what temperature the cooking surface has reached, and multiple layers of commercial-grade stainless steel and an efficient outer layer of insulation combine to ensure that 86% of heat is retained inside the oven. The interior of the oven is specially shaped to encourage a rolling flame for ultra-efficient cooking with minimal heat loss, and the insulation holds onto the heat so you can cook pizza after pizza without having to wait for the oven to heat up again in-between.

Unique pizza peel

Made especially for the Roccbox, the bespoke hard anodised aluminium pizza paddle has a tapered edge that makes it easy to transfer pizza, baked goods and cooking dishes into and out of the oven. Ridges prevent doughs from sticking, and the slotted base allows moisture to escape and enables any excess flour to fall away before getting burnt on the oven floor.

Named for its inventive founder, Tom Gozney – a massive fan of stone-baked pizza and traditional wood-fired ovens – this British company began life as the Stone Bake Oven Company, creating pre-cast affordable pizza ovens that replicated the heat of a traditional clay oven. Tom and his fellow pizza fans swiftly moved on to produce larger versions for restaurants under the Gozney Professional Oven brand, and followed that success with the crowd-funded Roccbox, a truly impressive, portable – and insulated – stone-based oven.
