Featuring a beautiful repeating motif on its lid, our Blue Wave Lunch Box is perfectly sized for carrying home-made lunches, salads and leftovers. It boasts a drip-proof seal on the inside of the lid and a contrasting red belly band, and has been designed to fit right-way-up in our matching Insulated Lunch Tote.
About our Blue Wave on-the-go range
Exclusive to Lakeland and designed by our talented in-house team, this range of on-the-go essentials – coffee cup, lunch box and lunch tote – features a gorgeous stylised wave motif inspired by Japanese prints. As beautiful as they’re practical, there’s a piece that’s perfect for your daily commute, lunch break or picnic in the park, and the coffee cup and lunch box are partly made from eco-friendly bamboo.
Eco-friendly, reusable and long-lasting
Made from 40% sustainably sourced bamboo fibre and 30% corn powder set into melamine resin, this lunch box is a great eco-friendly alternative to plastic versions. Incredibly light but remarkably tough, it’s built to withstand whatever life throws at it, and will last you through years of office lunches or picnics. It also comes with a red silicone band to hold the lid firmly in place, which can be recycled when it reaches the end of its long life.
BPA free.
Please note: for speedy washing up, this lunch box is fine to go in the top rack of your dishwasher but, because it’s made of 70% plant fibre, it’s not suitable for microwave use.
About bamboo
Technically a grass, bamboo shares many of the properties of wood.
