Fabric Elasticated Food Covers – Set of 4
Product number: 62583
So much prettier than most of the alternatives – cling film, foil or plastic – and more environmentally friendly too, Spaza’s lovely Fabric Dish Covers are made from breathable, recyclable cotton, with hand-printed designs inspired by South African flowers. Elegant, easy to use, washable and reusable, they mean you’ll never have to fiddle about with film or foil ever again.
Sized to fit a wide range of bowls
In four different sizes and colours, which make it really easy to find the one you want, each cover stretches over then closes securely around a range of dishes, bowls and pots – and though they’re circular, they’ll stretch over rectangular dishes as well as round ones:
- Small – cool grey, fits 15-22cm Dia.
- Medium – biscuit brown, fits 22-26cm Dia.
- Large – roasted red, fits 26-33cm Dia.
- Extra large – denim blue, fits 33-36cm Dia.
Great alternative to single-use film or foil
If you’re looking to cut down on use-once-and-throw-away cling film and foil, these covers are a fantastic, more eco-friendly choice. Made from natural cotton, they can be used, washed and reused over and over again, and the elasticated edges mean they hold tightly onto all those things that cling film just won’t stick to.
Perfect for picnics and food storage
When you’re setting out summery salads, dips, snacks or puds for an alfresco feast, the last thing you want is lots of uninvited insects setting up home in your lovingly prepared food. Pop these pretty covers over the tops of your dishes and bowls and they’ll keep bugs at bay. And, because they’re made from fully breathable cotton, they still allow air to circulate, so you won’t end up with sweating salad or wilted lettuce leaves.
Machine washable up to 60°C.
