These Reusable Flexible Straws from Asobu let you sip away with a clear conscience, knowing that you’re doing your bit in even a small, straw-shaped way to help reduce plastic waste.
Slot-together stainless steel and bendy silicone
The thing about stainless steel straws is that they really don’t bend (an observation, not a challenge!), so you’re stuck with a straw of a certain, unchangeable length. Which admittedly isn’t an enormous problem, but why not make things better if you can? And Asobu have, by replicating the bendy bit you get in some plastic straws with a flexible, leakproof silicone tube that links together two stainless steel bits – one long, one short – so you can adapt them to suit your drinks. You could even just use the longer stainless steel bits if you wanted short cocktail straws for sipping martinis and G&Ts.
