A fab addition to the range, this Pale Blue PME Luxury White Chocolate Cake Drip is a no-fuss way to create colourful drip-effect cakes with no need for messy mixing and melting. Ideal for baby showers, christenings and birthday cakes or for pastel-coloured springtime-themed showstoppers, it’s made with real white chocolate so the flavour’s fab too.

Quick, easy way to finish drip cakes

Drip cakes might look easy to decorate – how hard can it be to dribble chocolate over something? – but take it from us and our many smeared, drizzle-on-one-side, downpour-on-the-other disasters – it’s harder than it looks.

First you have to melt chocolate, or whisk up ganache, making sure it’s the right consistency. Too runny and it goes everywhere. Too firm and it goes nowhere – and then you have to pipe it carefully round the edge of your cake so it drips down just right… Professionals make this kind of thing look easy, but if you’re a cake decorating novice or just want the ‘wow!’ without the worry, this bottle will give you the look in seconds.

Ready to use straight from the bottle

Just twist the nozzle, hold the bottle over your cake and squeeze – it’s that simple. For the best results, place your iced or frosted cake on a turntable, hold the bottle over the edge and squeeze at regular intervals as you move your hand round the cake, rotating the turntable as you go – there’s a video above that shows you how. Once all the drips are done, simply fill in the middle of the cake and then spread with a spatula to get a nice even coating.

Delicious milk chocolate flavour

It’s made with real chocolate for an authentic taste, so you don’t have to worry about your cake looking great and tasting… not so great. And if you want to get the contrasting effect of pale drips on a dark cake, it’s available in other colours too.

Great for drizzling

If you want to finish off frosted cupcakes or iced cookies with drizzled chocolate effects, you’ll find it a perfect quick fix – just move the bottle quickly back and forth over your bakes as you squeeze. (There’s a video above showing you how to do this.)

Suitable for vegetarians and gluten free.

When you’ve finished all the chocolatey scrumptiousness, the squeezy bottle can be washed out and reused for drizzling home-made sauces just like the professional chefs you see on TV.

"A near disaster !"

I wanted a blue cake drip for a baby shower .Firstly expected a pastel blue , it’s garish bright blue . It doesn’t drip well and difficult to smooth over the top. But worse to come , it did not set at all . I couldn’t risk the blue running into my decoration so fortunately my chilled white chocolate ganache gave me scope to scrape off the blue dripping . As you can imagine this was risky and results weren’t perfect . so disappointing and very stressful! So I can not recommend this product . Fortunately, my local store , in line with your returns policy , did not hesitate in refunding me .

We're sorry this wasn't as expected. We can confirm this product doesn’t set and isn’t designed to, which is why it can be used straight out of the bottle and requires no heating; it will get a skin and will not continue to drip all the way down a cake once you’ve got the length of each drop, but it will remain soft to the touch.
