PME Lustre Snow Edible Lustre Dust Pearl 10g

Product number: 62546

An easy way to add a sparkling snowy white finish to cakes and bakes, or use with a stencil to create latte art, this shimmery Pearl Edible Lustre Dust comes in a fine-meshed shaker rather than a powder pump for greater control.

Shimmering white ‘snow’ dust

This magical powder comes in a container with a fine-meshed grill on top, helping you get a fine, even covering over cakes, bakes and drinks – just gently tap on the bottom to make it ‘snow’.

Doesn’t dissolve so stays sparkly

Unlike normal sugar which dissolves on contact with water, this dust will not dissolve on cakes, bakes and drinks, so you can enjoy the shimmer from first to last bite or sip.

Decorate cakes, chocolates and desserts

Bling up your bakes – this glimmery dust is perfect if you fancy finishing off your cake, cookies or home-made chocs with a little more sparkle, and gives a really luxurious finish to ice cream, yoghurt and other desserts.

Great for coffee art

If you’re looking for a finishing touch for a perfectly frothed cappuccino or cream-topped hot chocolate, sprinkling a little of this over is sure to add glamour and glitz. And while beautifully designed latte art might be beyond your skill level, if you team this dust with stencils, you can finish off your hot drinks with barista-worthy patterns in sparkling snow white.

Also available in Gold.

"Travels like a visible virus"

"Shake the jar" it says... and this stuff goes airborne! I actually filmed it, still dancing in the air and twinkling around my kitchen light half an hour after I'd used it. The actual results on the "horn" of the unicorn cake I was decorating were decidedly underwhelming, but the effect on the entire kitchen for hours afterward were pretty appalling. (And no, there was no air disturbance to make it fly like that - no draft - windows and doors closed.)

support_agent A note from the team

We're sorry that this didn't turn out as expected. As you've found it's very fine and gives more of a gentle shimmer. We'd advise that the bottle only needs a gentle tap aimed downwards in a controlled motion at the surface it's intended for.
