About Matcha tea
A concentrated form of green tea made from specially grown and processed green tea leaves, matcha tea has long been used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Using only leaves picked from shade-grown green tea plants, which are then ground to a fine, bright green powder, it contains higher levels of caffeine than green tea, as well as greater concentrations of antioxidants that are believed by some to give health benefits.
