Ideal for cafetières, filter machines and stovetop espresso makers, Rinaldo’s Coffee Casa Blend Ground Coffee is a beautifully balanced blend of two kinds of single-origin 100% Arabica coffee beans from Brazil and El Salvador, ground and roasted to perfection in the Lake District.
When Lake District-based artisan coffee roaster Rinaldo Colombi was creating his Casa Espresso Blend, he had a few requirements. It needed to be able to be bold enough to be enjoyed as a standalone espresso yet still have the body and punch to complement milky drinks. It had to be made from 100% single origin Arabica coffee beans to avoid the astringency you often get with robusta beans. The beans had to be ethically sourced from farms with full traceability. And, most importantly, the flavour needed to balanced, with nutty and dark chocolate notes and a refreshing berry finish.

About Rinaldo’s
A born and bred Cumbrian of Italian parentage, Rinaldo Colombi started out as a mobile barista, selling his own speciality coffee in and around the Lake District. But, after buying a hand-built Dutch roasting machine, crowdfunded by his customers in 2015, he began roasting his own 100% Arabica coffee. In 2018, he moved to new, larger premises at the Lakeland Food Park on the edge of Kendal, where, as well as roasting his superb coffee, he runs barista courses, sells coffee equipment and has an espresso bar serving hot drinks.
