Make scorched dressing tables and singed furniture tops a thing of the past by putting your hot hair straighteners or curling tongs down onto this heat-resistant silicone mat between uses.
Textured surface
Made from flexible silicone and heat-resistant up to 230°C, the mat has a wavy, non-slip textured surface on both sides to raise your tools up and keep the outside of the mat cool when it’s rolled up.
That’s a wrap
When you’re done styling, your hot tool can be wrapped up in the silicone mat, secured with the corner band and stored safely away in a drawer, or in a bag if you’re on the move and don’t have time to wait for it to cool down.

I have found this so useful, it's not too big as to clutter your surface and so handy to just wrap your styling tool in after use. Simple to use and all in all I can't see negative. I will be buying another for a gift before Christmas. Perfect.
This mat is perfect for resting or wrapping hot hair irons as described but in addition can be used on ironing board to rest iron when repositioning garment being ironed. Particularly useful with steam generator iron which does not stand easily on its heel.
