ILO Clam Shell Small Dish Drainer Rack White and Sage Green

As it was revealed from I realised that this was definitely a glossy and eye catching upgrade on my old kitchen drainer. The soft cream spikes held each dish or mug easily in place without losing precious minutes trying to secure them on the drainer and there was plenty of room for dishes. The fact it drains in two directions means that the dishes dry quickly without leaving pools. I loved the contemporary look. It needs hand washing rather than being dishwasher safe. The glossy sage green detachable cutlery dispenser was simple to clip on. A great price for something so stylish.

This drainer is excellent, very well balanced.great to fit your daily dishes on. Ladies if your a sewer this is the thing for you, fits all your cotton bobbins on even overlocker cones round the outside.

This is a excellent replacement for my old drainer, the rack is great for draining pan lids and baking trays without them falling over ( including my heavy le Creuset pans) The draining spouts are very useful as they drain water into the sink and I’m not left with water marks over the drainer. The only problem I’ve has is standing wine glasses up as the spikes are in the wrong place but as these usually go in the dishwasher this isn’t a problem.

Really pleased with this drainer ... once I had worked out that the small/short feet are interchangeable, so draining direction can be varied according to setup of your sink. I didn’t see any instructions to this effect (did I simply miss them?). Can’t help feeling someone might give up on this product if the penny doesn’t drop - I nearly did. That would be a great shame.

I have found it very useful although the hook-on cutlery drainer cup is rather small but perfect for a couple of teaspoons, which suits me as I live on my own and also have a compact dishwasher for larger items, I’ve been using it for drying my bean to cup coffee maker filter and jug and the odd mug. My only problem so far has been washing the inside between the raised fingers on the base as none of my hand dishwashing brushes reach the bottom of the drainer so I can clean it. I put it in my dishwasher tonight which has done a good job and will look for dishwasher brush with longer bristles.
