An electric blanket for your dinner plates, our Extra Large Electric Plate Warmer keeps dishes toasty warm, so your lovingly prepared feasts make it to the table at just the right temperature. So there’ll be no trying to fit plates in your already-full-of-food oven or running them under a hot tap to warm them up; just delicious, piping hot food that stays that way for longer. Yum!
Warms up to 10 plates at a time
Hot food dished up on a cold plate is a dinner party no-no, so being able to plug in this plate wrap and heat up to 10 full-sized dinner plates at a time takes one worry away from a busy host. It’s also brilliant for festive feasts when you’re serving a crowd, hot buffets and Sunday roasts – any meal when you’re entertaining greater numbers than usual and need a little extra help so things go smoothly.
LED control with Intelliheat technology
Using the same Intelliheat technology that you find in heated throws and blankets, its preset temperature control heats plates to a toasty 60°C, so it keeps them nice and warm but won’t ever overheat and damage your very best china.
Control detaches easily to take plates to the table
The edges of the wrap are designed to stay cool to protect both your hands and any surfaces. So if you’ve been warming the plates in your kitchen until everything’s ready, you can detach the Intelliheat control where it plugs into the wrap and carry the still-wrapped stack of plates into your dining room to keep them warm until the very last minute. It also makes it easier to clean – just detach the control and it's ready to stick in the washing machine.
Flexible design wraps round dishes
With an outer wrap made from polycotton in a contemporary charcoal grey and red design, it's been designed to be more flexible than many plate warmers, which helps it wrap around your dishes – Janet from our Buying Team has tested it and loves the way you can mould it round deeper bowls to heat them all the way round, rather than just the rims and bases.

Bought this last year for my husband(he did ask for it) as he absolutely hates cold plates.This warms plates brilliantly and the cutlery as he likes those warms as well.You won’t be disappointed buying this
I have been looking for a plate warmer for some time and the Lakeland warmer is just what I was looking for. It holds large plates and bowls and gets to just the right temperature. It is really useful when I have a crowd of people for dinner and means I can free up the top oven, which is where I used to warm plates. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.
I bought this as a Christmas present to myself and wasn’t sure if I’d use it much. I’m pleased to say it’s been used every day as I always have 5 or 6 people to cook for. I previously used to put plates in a bowl of hot water beforehand but they seemed to lose heat once they were dried and plates were too hot to use from the oven. This plate warmer is brilliant, the only thing I need to remember is to plug it in half an hour before and not let the cat sit on the top.
i have been looking at plate warmers for a while, but none have ticked all the boxes, i needed something easy to store, easy to clean, easy to use, and that will take not just a few plates, but will also warm serving dishes etc. Well Lakeland, you've just gone and solved all of my problems with one product. This marvelous plate warmer is really simple to use, it is a heated multi layered pad, which is washable, all the layers are linked together so it doesn't get tangled, and its only one push button to switch on and off, perfect if your dexterity isn't what it was.
