If you’ve ever watched Bake Off: The Professionals in awe and wondered how to achieve some of the textured finishes they achieve, you’ll be delighted to find this PME Brown Velvet Cocoa Butter Spray. It allows you to coat home-made chocolates, cakes and desserts with a beautiful, professional-looking matt-textured finish in no time at all.

Ideal for dressing dinner party desserts, this amazing spray gives a professional velvet finish to simple ice creams, sorbets, mousses and cheesecakes as well as giving a luxurious look to home-made sweets and chocolates.

For best results…

• Warm the spray can to 25°C for at least two hours before use.
• Chill (or freeze) your chocolates, desserts or iced cake until they’re cold to the touch.
• Shake the can really thoroughly and spray on a thin, uniform layer.

Tip: – For best results, place the dessert or chocolates onto a cake turntable and spray up and down and from side to side while turning the turntable. We recommend creating a ‘spray booth’ on an empty section of your kitchen worktop with a screen behind the turntable made from thin chopping boards or a cardboard box.

After each use, clean the spray nozzle under warm running water to prevent it from blocking as the cocoa butter cools.
