PME Natural Colour Candy Buttons Red 200g
Product number: 62091
In claret-toned red that’s ideal for dipping edible ‘cricket ball’ cake pops or clown noses for fund-raising efforts, these PME Natural Colour Red Candy Buttons make it ultra-easy to add a pop of colour to any cake decorating project – and they’re especially good when it comes to fairground themes and festive holly berries for Christmas baking projects, or bloody fangs for Dracula-themed Halloween bakes.
Melt, mould, dip, drizzle and pipe…
Easy to melt, PME Candy Buttons can be poured into moulds to create edible cake toppers, lollies or candy shells to fill with other flavours, used as a silky-textured dip for coating cake pops, doughnuts, biscuits and home-made sweets, or drizzled over bakes to create a drip-cake effect. You can pipe the colourful candy onto greaseproof paper or silicone baking sheets and make your own designs (simple or complex) to garnish cupcakes, celebration cakes, patisserie and posh puds, or use the melted Candy Buttons to coat strawberries for serving alongside a dinner party dessert. And they’re a great way to provide a sweet fondue for dipping chunks of fruit – or perhaps more ‘wicked’ things – at informal get-togethers.
All-natural colour and flavour
All-natural food colourings have a reputation for not being quite as bright as their synthetic counterparts but PME have worked their magic with their own food colouring know-how, and they’ve made sure their candy melt colours are really vibrant, without resorting to E numbers for the colourants. And they’ve added a subtle, natural vanilla flavour to this sweet cake covering too.
No hydrogenated fats, no GMO
Aware that health-conscious people like to bake and eat sweet treats just as much as anyone else, PME have made sure their Candy Buttons don’t contain any worrying ingredients like hydrogenated fats, and they avoid Genetically Modified ingredients too.
