Lakeland 12 Days of Christmas Crackers Pack Of 12

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… a really unique set of baker’s Christmas crackers, each containing a tiny kitchen tool. It might not seem like the most obvious way to count down the 12 Days of Christmas, but cake makers will be springing out of bed to pull a cracker and discover the mini baking-themed gift inside.

Every year we see new Advent calendars – filled with everything from gin, to cheese or beauty products – but as obsessive bakers, we were still waiting to find our perfect one… Our wait is over as our in-house designer Laura has created these fabulous crackers that will give us and our baking mad customers a dozen daily treats.
Filled with mini baking gifts
Beautifully illustrated with images from the classic 12 Days of Christmas song, tucked inside each one is a mini baking accessory, with useful things like silicone mini cupcake cases, a tiny whisk, mini nutmeg grater, little measuring spoons, cookie cutters, icing nozzles and icing cutters. And, of course, it goes without saying that we’ve popped in an obligatory cheesy joke, and a traditional paper hat, just in case you decide to put the crackers on your Christmas dining table.
A cracking idea
Indulgent advent calendars have really caught on in recent years, and with a little kitchen tool each one, these crackers are a unique and thoughtful way to spoil a baking fan as they count down to the big day. Each mini baking tool is really high quality, and will be a welcome surprise when the crackers are pulled.
A cooking-themed countdown
Now, we love a chocolate Advent calendar as much as the next person, but if there’s a baker or super-keen cook that you’d love to treat, this set will be right up their street, giving them a useful (and cute!) gift on the 12 days of Christmas. They’d look lovely tucked between the boughs of your Christmas tree, and would be a treat for the guests around the table at your festive parties, too.

As well as looking beautiful on the table, these crackers have great contents. There are cookie cutters and icing cutters which I'll use myself, as well as items like the mini whisk which have become part of the children's baking set for us to have fun with together. Such a change from the usual contents which go in the bin after you've pulled your crackers. These are such fun as we love to bake in out house. And because there are 12, you can use them over two festive occasions.
Bit soon for crackers I know, but you can't turn down a chance to celebrate early! Considering that 12 is a common size for crackers, I'm surprised I've never seen a pack with the 12 days of Christmas theme before. Each one has a unique design according to the day it represents. Each cracker has the usual hat and joke inside, but instead of the normal throwaway gift, they have lovely miniature cooking and baking items inside. They're really fun and quirky, and good quality. One advantage to using these early is that I can now make good use of the pastry cutters that were inside.
