The story begins…
Owned by the wealthy but mysterious Blossom family, the once magnificent Grand Hotel was in danger of being closed for good until the sudden return of the Blossom son, Kurt, and his beautiful wife, Lauren. They want to restore the hotel to its former glory, but nothing is quite what it seems…
The plot thickens…
When the Blossoms’ glamorous, rich and influential guests arrive for the grand reopening, they’re ready for a night to remember – but little do they suspect it will be for all the wrong reasons!
The set-up
Invite your guests, set the scene and get ready to host a night of fun and intrigue. Each guest can come dressed as one of the eight characters, ready to play their role. The ultimate quest? To uncover the dark, hidden secret of The Grand Hotel. But there are only 90 minutes on the clock, so the heat is on…
How to play
Your guests travel through the hotel, solving the series of interactive puzzles that release them from each room. There are 9 different rooms to visit, starting in Your Room, each one containing a different puzzle or challenge that will lead to the next room… and the next riddle-filled envelope. Fantastic fun for puzzle solvers, lovers of board games, whodunnits and murder mystery events, it’s a great gift for anyone who loves entertaining and wants their dinner parties to be nights to remember.

I had some friends over to play this escape room game and we loved it! Well presented with challenging but fun puzzles...we escaped with 3 minutes to spare!

Brought this for a party I am hosting over Christmas and gave this a trial run with a group of friends over the weekend - great fun solving all the puzzles and racing against the clock. All the lovely hosting elements are great too. Easy to reset the envelopes to play again!

I bought this for a family Christmas game and decided to try it out with my daughter. I was difficult for 2 to share solving the puzzles in the different rooms and I cannot see how 8 people could be involved. Most of them would be listening rather than taking part. Also, the guidance in the rooms was not helpful and the clues too intricate. The denouement was unsurprising. All in all a poor expensive game, perhaps best for 1 player who loves puzzles.

This is a very well presented game with its smart box and mysterious envelopes, so it looked extremely promising for an evening's family entertainment. How wrong we were! The clues were tenuous and the solutions unconvincing, and the climax as we opened the final envelope and read out the very long-winded, predictable prose was embarrassingly and frustratingly disappointing. This is not cheap for a game you can only play once, so we really did expect more.
