When it came to creating this lovely light-up up runner, our team of in-house designers asked themselves what would make our centrepiece extra-special. The runner had to be attractive enough to hold its own even without the lights being turned on; have a subtle and sophisticated Christmassy pattern; a flat battery pack so that the runner sits flat; and be easy to care for. Check, check, check and check.
With an elegant sprinkling of silvery stars and a removable LED light string that casts a warm white glow to showcase your carefully-chosen tableware, our runner turned out even better than we hoped it would!
You don’t often see table toppers like this, so we’re sure loved ones around the table will be impressed with your efforts as they’re welcomed by its inviting ambience and just a little festive magic. And if you can’t dine by fairy lights at Christmas… when can you?
Easy to clean
With all the plates, glasses and serving dishes that go onto a Christmas table, is it any wonder that tablecloths and runners end up soaking up the odd spill? Thankfully, our lovely star-spangled runner is really easy to take care of. Just remove the LED light string, and it's ready to go in the washing machine. And although it looks remarkably like linen, the runner is actually made from easy-care polyester, so it’ll dry quickly ready to get back onto the table for your Boxing Day buffet.
