Offering a fun twist on the classic ‘a window a day’ calendar, this Santa Advent Countdown lets you count up the days from the 1st to the 24th of December – or count down the number of sleeps till the big day finally arrives.
Perch the painted base on a low windowsill or side table, and every day you can move Santa and his star on another notch. Start at 1 if you’re counting up the days of December the traditional way, or at 24 if you’re counting down the number of nights before the ‘real’ Santa makes his appearance.
It won’t stop kids asking when Christmas is coming (or why it’s taking so long to turn up!) but it’s a charming way to welcome in the season together, and its sturdy painted MDF base and resin Santa on a star make it robust enough to be reused year after year.
