Not shaken, or stirred, but perfectly pickled, these extra-crunchy cornichons are a wonderful way to garnish your Christmas cocktails. Sadly, the sun wasn’t yet past the yardarm at tasting time, but they were so good we were happy to eat them straight from the jar! And if you can manage to resist them long enough, these mild mini gherkins are brilliant with a charcuterie selection, too.

A match made in heaven for whisky, gin or vodka-based drinks, these extra-fine cornichons are treated to a shot of mild American Bourbon Whiskey, and the fine vanilla and honey notes really shine through. You’ll have to take our word for it, but they have an intriguing burst of flavour with a finish that’s on the subtle side of sharp – even those of us who usually steer clear of pickles couldn’t resist having ‘just one more’!
