8 Remote Control White LED Tealights

I have 2 sets of these & could not understand why the batteries did not last so checked out the reviews on this product only to find that despite there being a remote control to switch them on & off they do not actually turn off via the remote!!! Therefore they are still using up battery power when unlit!!! Nowhere in the product description does it mention this or on the packaging. So be aware you will spend a small fortune on batteries if you don’t switch off each one using the little switch underneath.

The description for this item implies that all you need to do is use the remote control to turn the lights on and off. When my two packs arrived I opened one switched them all on at the base and tested the remote which worked well and I put them away for a few days. When I came to use them all but two had flat batteries and it now appears that this happens if you do not turn the lights off using the switches on the base. To be honest if this had been made clear in the product description I would probably not have ordered them and I have returned the unopened second set.

lights should have a little more info. When turned on using remote is nice. Warning if you turn them off with the remote the batteries are still being used as if the are still ON . If put into say lanterns etc . Please again remember that when turned off with the remote they are basically still ON (with no glow) and using the batteries up . other supplies make this very clear. .

Ideal when you need to use lots of candles

When I purchased them I thought at the time what a brilliant idea ,no more fiddling putting them on.
