The tangy taste and chewy texture makes basic meals far more interesting, whether paired with a chunky soup, hearty stew, robust cheeses or even simply served warm with melted butter… While making it at home is usually a lengthy and arduous process, Panasonic’s Sourdough Bread Maker does all of the hard work for you, even providing you with an easy-to-follow recipe and instructions. Simply put your sourdough starter ingredients into one of the starter cups provided and place into the bread machine, choosing the sourdough starter setting. In 24 hours – much faster than the usual 5 days – you can add your starter to the rest of your ingredients into the bread machine and a mere 5 hours later, you’ll have a beautifully turned out sourdough loaf to tuck into. As there are two sourdough starter cups provided, you can make two lots of sourdough starter and keep one in the fridge for up to a week before use, speeding up the process even more.

Gluten intolerants and coeliac sufferers needn’t be deprived of the joys of moreish breads and indulgent cakes as this gluten free bread maker has three different gluten free settings – bread, cake and pasta – making it easier than ever to enjoy your favourite foodie treats while having complete control over what goes into your food.
