Filled with a lip-smackingly scrumptious selection of savoury delights that are perfect paired with an after-dinner cheeseboard, it makes a wonderful gift for that tricky-to-buy-for friend who likes a chunk of cheese or two, and wants to bring out the best in their Brie, complement their Caerphilly and enhance their Edam.
In the bag
The strongly made canvas bag with contrasting piping and stout rope handles is full of tasty treats, individually wrapped then packed inside a cardboard box to keep them safe until it’s time to indulge. Crammed with delicious accompaniments to cheese, our bespoke bag contains:
- Black Garlic Pickle (210g) – terrifically tangy and completely delicious, a dollop will add a flavour kick to pork pies and cold meats as well as cheese. Handmade for us in the Lake District, it’s gluten-free, suitable for vegans and contains no artificial flavourings.
- Cheeseboard Chutney (110g) – a fabulously fruity medley of cranberries, Bramley apples and fresh figs, flavoured with spices and a dash of red wine. Gluten-free and suitable for vegans.
- Red Onion Marmalade (120g) – deliciously sweet and sticky, spread it on an oaty biscuit and top with a wedge of your favourite fromage – it’s perfect paired with a chunk of Cheddar or goat’s cheese – or use it in place of pickle in a classic cheese and pickle sandwich.
- Mature Cheddar Oaty Biscuits for Cheese (130g) – satisfyingly crunchy crackers made in Yorkshire from only the finest ingredients, including real Cheddar cheese, they’re made for stacking up with a slice of cheese and a dollop of pickle or chutney. Suitable for vegetarians.
- Red Pepper & Pumpkin Seeds Oaty Biscuits For Cheese (130g) – with the sweetness of red peppers and the nutty crunch of pumpkin seeds. Suitable for vegetarians.
- Pickled Onions in Cider Vinegar (200g) – crisp, crunchy silverskin onions that perfectly complement full-flavoured English cheeses, they’re also delicious paired with cold cuts or popped into a salad for extra crunch. And a ploughman’s just isn’t a ploughman’s without them! Suitable for vegans.
