About Butternut Mountain Farm

Named after its mountain home, Butternut Mountain Farm is owned and run by the third generation of the Marvin family. Deeply involved in the science, art and practice of producing maple syrup in Vermont since the 1940s, when their grandfather – a research professor – set about improving the mechanics of maple sap collection, theirs is a legacy and heritage that they’re proud to carry forward into the 21st century. They work closely with a collective of equally dedicated Vermont maple sugar producers to ensure that any maple syrup carrying their distinctive label is of the highest quality.
