Repel, not kill

If you want to avoid using zappers or flypaper in the summer months, the Halo Mini is an animal-friendly way to keep hungry insects at bay and take yourself off the menu too. You also won't need those smelly DEET sprays that often repel humans as well as insects!

Powered by butane gas canisters, the Halo Mini is super-portable, protecting you wherever you go this summer, whether it's a picnic in the park, festival or camping trip.

How does it work?

Powered by butane gas canisters, a mat saturated with insect-repelling allethrin is heated, spreading the repellent through the air, creating a 20m Sq. ‘force field' that deters meddlesome midges and mozzies. The device works best in calm conditions, as strong winds will affect the efficiency of the repellent.

Easy to use

• Remove the bottom compartment cover and insert the gas canister and replace the cover.
• Place on a flat surface and insert the repellent mat under the grille.
• Slide the switch to the on position (the ZoneCheck™ indicator light should begin to pulse).
• Wait 5 seconds and move the switch to the start position until it clicks (the pulsing light will turn solid to indicate the device is working).

In 30 minutes, you can sit in peace, protected from midges and mosquitos.

End-of-life indicator

To ensure you keep mini beasties away continuously, the blue repellent-soaked mats will turn white when they are no longer effective, so you'll know it's time for a change. Plus, as there's room to store four mats in the device itself, they'll always be close at hand. If you're sitting outside for longer than 4 hours, remember to keep an eye on the time and the mat so you're not caught out. To change the mat, turn the device off and wait for the grille to cool down before removing the old mat and inserting the new one.
