Packed in a handsome box, it’s the perfect gift for friends or family members who love to entertain.
Designed by Taylor’s expert cutlers, the Brooklyn range of knives have comfortable soft-grip handles, copper accents and extremely sharp hollow ground blades with a protective hard ceramic coating to keep them looking their best for years to come.
Set includes a mini knife block with:
- Flat cheese knife – With a broad, flat-edged blade that’s ideal for cutting medium-soft and semi-hard cheeses – perfect for goat’s cheese, Wensleydale, Edam, Gouda and much more. Blade 4.5cm W.
- Soft cheese knife – Subtly curved, this blade has cut-out segments so stickier cheese varieties won’t cling to the blade when you’d like them on your plate. It has a useful forked tip to help lift morsels and small chunks of crumbly cheeses like Lancashire from platter to plate. Blade approx. 8cm.
- Hard cheese knife – Longer than the dedicated Parmesan knife, the gentle curve and sharp point of this blade helps cut through blocks of Cheddar, Gloucester and other hard and semi-hard cheeses. Blade approx. 8cm.
- Parmesan knife – A stubby, sharp-pointed knife that can bite its way through the hardest cheeses like Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano. Blade approx. 6cm.
About Taylor’s Eye Witness
Proudly Sheffield-based since their founder, John Taylor, set up the business in 1820, Taylor’s were granted their ‘eye witness’ trademark in 1838. John passed the company on to his daughter and her husband, and the company has gone from strength to strength, designing and making high quality knives in their Grade II listed Eye Witness Works for more than 150 years.
