Versatile, heavy-duty storage container

Some storage containers can be a little on the flimsy side, or not quite heavy-duty enough for the job you’ve got in mind. Not this one. Sturdily made from recycled polypropylene, it has a hundred and one uses: really robust storage for anything that you need to keep in a loft, like Christmas decorations or outdoor cushions; housing outdoor shoes and walking boots in the garage; filled with ice and beers at a barbecue… it would make a great kit box/stool for an angler, and could even replace your recycling box if you're fed up of those lightweight lids flying off in the lightest breeze.

Strong lid snaps securely into place

A lidded box is only as good as its lid, and ones that bulge, break or refuse to fit properly are very frustrating, but we were really impressed by this one. Just as strongly made as the box below it, the lid clips firmly into place and has been strength-tested to hold up to 370kg (over 800lb) of weight – so you can even sit on your lidded box when it’s full, or stack others on top of it.

Made from recycled household plastic

Ever wondered what happens to the plastic waste you put in the recycling? Some of it might well end up in these boxes! Wham Bam buy household polypropylene waste – the kind of plastic that’s used to make margarine containers, yoghurt pots and bottle caps – and use it to make these incredibly strong boxes, cutting down on the amount that goes into landfill.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Staying strong even in cold temperatures, it’s just as useful in garages or garden sheds as in an understairs cupboard, attic or utility room.
