Don’t struggle with a corkscrew or a waiter’s friend when you fancy a glass of vino – Cuisinart’s Electric Wine Opener will have the cork off in a jiffy, with virtually no effort on your part.

Efficient and easy to use, this smart, copper-accented wine gadget will open up to 80 bottles on a full charge – perfect for dinner parties or wine-tasting sessions. The dark blue-grey plastic casing on the handset is easy to grip and the matching docking station keeps it stored neatly while charging.

Simple to use

This nifty, powered corkscrew makes it quick and easy to open your favourite wines at the touch of a button, happily removing both natural and synthetic corks. Simply place the handset on top of the bottle and press the shiny copper Down button to extract the cork from your chosen bottle, then press the Up button to release it from the corkscrew.

Fully rechargeable

When you’ve finished opening bottles, give it a wipe down with a clean damp cloth and pop the handset back onto the charging unit to store it safely and prevent damage – it charges while in situ so it’ll always be fully charged when you need it. When the battery has depleted, the handset takes 6-8 hours to fully charge with the base unit plugged in – the green indicator light will flash while it’s charging and then become solid when it’s ready.

Foil cutter

Just the thing for removing those awkward foil casings before you open your bottle of wine, simply place the foil cutter around the bottle top and twist to reveal the cork beneath. The cutter can then be neatly and safely stored in the base unit for easy access when you need it.

Vacuum sealer

Preserve the freshness and flavour of your opened and unfinished wines with the included vacuum sealer – simply pop it on top of the bottle and pump the air out until you feel resistance. It also has a dial on it so you’ll know how long the bottle has been open for – just turn to select the correct seal date.
