Free Melitta Connect app

Download the Melitta Connect app and you can make use of the ultra-easy Touch and Slide coffee menu that makes it even easier to access the drinks menu on the Barista TS Smart bluetooth coffee machine. Create your own coffee specialities, specify just exactly how much milk you’d like in your latte, and save up to eight personal preferences into the My Coffee Profiles memory with the utmost ease. The machine will prompt you if the hopper is running low on coffee beans in case you need to order more and practical tutorials coach you through cleaning and maintenance programmes when it’s time.

Touchscreen display

With a high resolution colour display, the touch sensitive TFT screen makes the Barista TS really easy to use. With One Touch ‘buttons’ for four classic coffee recipes plus an additional 17 coffees to choose from, it’s easy to select the coffee shop style beverage that you’ve a yen for as super-simple step-by-step instructions take you through the scroll-down menu. There are also one-touch options for warm milk, frothed milk and hot water.

Super-quiet grinder

Winner of a Quiet Mark Award, the super-efficient grinding mechanism is whisper quiet so it won’t disturb the peace while you wait for your morning brew.

Dual coffee bean hoppers

Able to hold two varieties of coffee bean in the dual hopper, Melitta’s Barista TS has Automatic Bean Select, which means that a simple touch lets you choose the bean variety that’s right for each brew… Brilliant if you prefer a milder coffee variety to your partner or you both like to drink decaf in the evenings, and the innovative Aromasafe lid is part of their Aroma PLUS System that helps to preserve the flavour of your beans until they’re ground. It only grinds what’s needed for each coffee you’ve requested and it alerts your mobile phone if the hopper is getting empty. There’s even an integrated coffee chute that lets you spoon pre-ground coffee directly into the machine if you ever run out of beans.

As well as the classics – espresso, café crème, cappuccino and latte macchiato, there are 17 other coffee specialities in the menu, from a simple lungo or flat white to an espresso macchiato.

Programmable memory

Melitta’s ‘My Coffee Memory’ feature is fully programmable, and able to remember the preferred coffee setting for up to eight people, so you don’t have to tell it how to make your favourite coffee every time you want a brew. You can be sure you’ll have the exact amount of coffee brewed at your preferred temperature, the perfect quantity of milk and your ideal amount of froth every time you open your user profile.

All-in-one dispensing outlet

Sensibly designed, the Barista TS dispenses coffee, milk and hot water in one place, so there’s no need to move your cup while it’s creating your chosen drink. The outlet is height adjustable so you can easily fit latte glasses under the nozzles and there’s an integrated LED light so you can see your cup filling even if you’ve chosen not to put the kitchen lights on. Adjusts up to 14cm H.

Double cup mode

Your CI Touch coffee machine can make two coffees at a time so you can get straight to the serious business of after-dinner conversation without too long a wait.
