Sitting inside the attractive lime-washed wooden tray, with its black gauze ribbon, you’ll find a truly tempting selection of handmade gourmet truffle-infused Tuscan delights, selected by our Italian partners Borgo de’Medici to show off the very best of artisanal Tuscan food production. From risotto rice and farfalle pasta to oil and salt, you’ll find pretty much everything you or the lucky recipient might need to make a traditionally simple but utterly mouth-watering supper full of the tastes and aromas of central Italy. Just add chianti!

Black Truffle Flavoured Dipping Oil (125ml)

Made from a combination of sunflower oil for lightness and extra virgin olive oil for richness, this delicious dipping oil is particularly versatile. Use for drizzling over finished dishes just before serving – soups, vegetables, pasta, polenta, risotto or pizza – for an extra mushroom hit.

Black Truffle Tartufata Sauce (180g)

This rich, earthy sauce, made from portobello mushrooms and flavoured with black olives and truffle, is delicious stirred through pasta, spread on bruschetta, and also the perfect condiment to complement grilled meat, scrambled eggs or even hamburgers.

Black Truffle Salt (250g)

This fine Italian salt infused with morsels of black truffle looks like a mixture of salt and pepper but the deep mushroomy truffle aroma and flavour are unmistakable. Sprinkle on roasted veggies, flatbreads or even chips as a finishing touch or use it in your cooking to add two flavours in one.

Black Truffle Risotto Rice (220g)

For risotto with a difference, use this finest risotto rice infused not only with summer black truffle but also fresh Italian parsley for an extra flavour dimension. Just add butter, onion, wine, stock and parmesan for a perfect ‘primo piatto’ Italian-style (or a simple English supper dish!).

Truffle Glaze (60ml)

Made with balsamic vinegar of Modena and truffle flavour, this rich glaze has a wonderful truffle aroma and is ideal for drizzling over salads, mixing into dressings or garnishing roasted meats, fish or vegetables.

Black Truffle Linguine Pasta (250g) – Made from durum wheat and speckled with black truffle, these delectable strands are best served with the simplest of fresh ingredients, Tuscan-style.
