"Nice but not perfect"
I'm a great fan of caramel sauces and always keen to try a new one. In my opinion the best ones are made with cream and my favourite has always been the one made at the home of sticky toffee pudding and sauce in the Lake District. This one by Joe and Seph runs it close and I'm not sure which I prefer best. This Madagascan Vanilla Caramel Sauce is a little less sweet than my favourite one, I prefer that. The vanilla flavour is a little too strong when eaten neat, as I do sometimes, but is perfect when used properly as a sauce. However the use of vanilla seeds, a lot of them, gives the sauce a slightly gritty texture which I'm not keen on.
