Lakeland Make-Your-Own Gingerbread Cottages Kit

These were a real joy to make! The kit was easy to use, and they make a lovely addition to a hot drink in the run up to Christmas. Anybody looking for something that the whole family can get involved with, then this would be ideal. It’s true that the kit doesn’t contain a cutter, but it doesn’t state that it does on the kit contents. (A standard knife did the cutting perfectly fine!) All in all, a great, festive kit that I’ll be purchasing every Christmas as a new Christmas tradition!

The gingerbread tasted great but I think something needs to be said about the templates - I cut all the pieces out and baked them, but then the gingerbread spread in the oven so I had to trim each piece! Might have been better to explain this, bake as a 'sheet' and then cut out.

Ooops, should have read the reviews. I also thought this included the cutters rather than a card template which i could have made. Disappointed, should include a picture of someone cutting round the template to make it obvious what you're getting.

Having bought a few of your gingerbread house making products in the past - a full sized house and the small set of 4 houses to make the village, both of which are great, I bought this product with confidence. A very disappointing mistake. I would never have bought this had I realised there is no cutter. I could make my own cardboard template, and certainly make my own gingerbread. A great shame, and waste of money.

Very disappointed to find this "kit" doesn't include any real cutters only cardboard templates which doesn't bode well for someone will dexterity problems. As it is a kit I assumed that cutters would have been included, not the quality we are used to from Lakeland .should have read the reviews first !.
