Gingerbread Reindeer Kit

I purchased this kit for my 10year old grandson. We carefully followed the instructions for assembly. Assembling the main body part was easy and the reindeer stood well. We allowed the icing to be dry and firm before adding the antlers. When the antlers were fixed the main part bent badly. It was dried out overnight in the airing cupboard but collapsed later the following day. Generally the antlers are poor design as is the fixing of them. The moisture in the icing made the gingerbread soft. We were really disappointed. Last year we had gingerbread house which was excellent

Very disappointing buy. Purchased for the centrepiece at Christmas. Made by following the instructions completing, fell apart within 5 mins. Very disappointing, not what you expect from Lakeland. Surprised to see it still available.

How I wish I'd read earlier reviews before purchasing this. Made this with my daughter following all instructions and she was thrilled with the fully assembled reindeer, but imagine her despair when a short while later she went back to look at it and it had collapsed. This is down to poor design, the antlers are too top heavy and just bring down the whole reindeer. The following morning it was totally flat, just the legs still standing. She was disappointed but she is a teenager and was ok with it, I would hate to imagine the reaction of a younger child, they'd be heartbroken.

After buying this for me and my son do to together as a Christmas craft, we were left very disappointed with the end result. The antlers were to heavy for the neck and just flopped to one side. The biscuit was soggy even after doing as the instructions advised. Not a good buy at £9.99

After making the house from Lakeland kit last Christmas, I bought the reindeer to make with my daughter for the grandchildren. The gingerbread went soft very quickly and even thought we took care to dry out, the reindeer's antlers head were too heavy and the head fell off. So disappointing especially considering the cost of the kit (I paid full price). Next year I'll make my own!
