Teatime will take on a whole new dimension with Owl’s Brew – the first tea crafted especially for cocktails. Tired of their usual vodka and cranberry and syrup-heavy cocktails, the founders set about looking for a mixer that was, in their own words, ‘lighter, fresher, funner’. After a bit of experimentation they found that tea blended perfectly with a wide range of spirits, and Owl’s Brew was born. Fresh-brewed and bottled in Vermont in small batches from all-natural ingredients, it combines smoky lapsang souchong and Earl Grey tea with lemon and a dash of honey to produce a blend that pairs up a treat with whisky – 2 parts brew to 1 part spirit – for a satisfyingly refreshing tipple.
