"Spoilt by the powdery coating"

The coating on these is really bitter and sticks to your mouth. I rubbed the coating off one under the tap and underneath they were quite nice. I gave some as a Christmas present and the recipient was not impressed so I'm off to another shop to purchase some replacements.

"Not nice, avoid"

I was given these as a Xmas present and was very disappointed. I love ginger chocolates. I love truffles. But I really didn't like these. The chocolate is poor quality (only 57% cocoa solids) and the taste was just nasty. I've decided that ginger and truffles just aren't a good combination. I ate one and threw the rest away. Fortunately I have other ginger choc from Lakeland so I can still have my annual Xmas gingery treat.

"Horrible!"

I gave these to my daughter as a Christmas present and she has just phoned me to say she tried one this afternoon and it was so horrible she spat it out and threw the rest away. Oh dear, wish I had paid attention the first review. It is not often Lakeland get it wrong, just a shame this was a Christmas present. I have given one star but really it should be NO stars, sorry Lakeland but I am glad you won't be selling any more of them.
