"Excellent" star star star star star At last we have found a poacher that works and the eggs don’t stick to the cups. I just wiped the cups with a little butter and when the eggs were cooked they came out cleanly and looked really good.
"Dangerous!!" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Just tried this poacher for the first time. We are big fans of poached eggs and I bought this thinking it would be simple to use, fast and easier to clean than the saucepans we usually use. I was wrong on all counts. It's fiddly, slow and really difficult to clean. But the worst thing is that I sliced my finger open on the sharp underside of the lid whilst trying to clean it!! Should come with a health warning in my opinion... support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about your experience and we'll be in touch shortly to help.
"Disappointed with quality" star star star star_border star_border I purchased this pan in store and on unpacking at home found that the pan rim was dented so the lid did not fit. Phoned the shop and as usual the assistant was helpful. She put one aside for me to collect. On unpacking the replacement I see that one of the cups has a dent on the inside of the base. Too inconvenient ( and cost if petrol) to return to shop so will live with it. Just hope that non stick surface has not bern compromised. Otherwise, just what I was looking for. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. "Seems very good to me" star star star star star Having lived through thinking a good start to the day was eating a bowl of carbohydrates and milk, then struggling for a while with boiled egg shells, this egg poacher is a real find. I've seen the earlier reviews. Maybe the design has changed as I don't recognise the problem symptoms . Use a knob of butter in each tin. Don't point each tin at the rim. Use a tea towel folded in quarters to lift out the cooked tins, place upside down on the plate and the egg falls out, no knives. It's presumably not made to bash around, of course, but there's no need. Can be part of the morning routine. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review and for the great tips.
"Brilliant poacher...but..." star star star star star_border Bought this poacher to replace a very cheap small poacher. So much better, but when wiping the egg-cups tray, my husband cut his finger as the inside of the rings are a bit sharp. ( It only needed a sticky plaster, no great trauma) Not what we expected, as we love lakeland products, and we still love this poacher...just dry it carefully! support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review.
