Grate ‘n’ Store

I found the holder impossible to use and in trying to hold an onion to slice, neatly sliced my thumb. There are no instructions and a functioning holder is really essential. Which is a shame as otherwise it is a useful piece of equipment

I bought this some time ago, but it's one of the rare occasions when I am totally disappointed with a Lakeland product. I've used it about 3 times, and now it's banished to the back of the drawer. Firstly, the sides of the medium grater cracked, it can still fit into the holder, but you have to grate with care otherwise it pops up from its holder - so fine for cheese, but not harder stuff like carrots. Secondly, the container warped after a couple of washes which means the lid/grater doesn't stay on properly. And the slicer isn't quite sharp enough to grate anything - disappointing

I got this because I liked the sloping grater bit and the handle, which I thought would be easier to use than the previous similar Lakeland item (which had a sturdy blue oval storage bit). It was better, but after just a few uses the storage has warped so it doesn't fit snugly under the grater, and keeps popping out. I rang today to give this feedback, and was offered a replacement or refund. So the product is not that good, but full marks for customer service!

I bought this to involve my son in cooking,but found that the grater attachments cracked at the sides, and that the graters slipped off of the storage box too easily. Much better to use the attachments by themselves, but that is not what I paid for!

I bought this grater as I liked the idea of having the container to store foods in. Also like the fact that there were different sized graters. Like others, I found that the sides cracked after very little use. Still functional but definitely very poor design. Now ordering "My Kitchen Grater - Ref:12789 and hoping for a Greater Grater!!
