"Don't use this when frying"
I bought a great heavy frying pan and since I don't like using metal on metal, I bought this multi-purpose spatula from Lakeland. Information says heat-resistant upto 180°C. Would have found it more useful if it said what you can't use this spatula for! I was frying chopped liver and garlic in my pan and on the 3rd stir, I noticed the front was melting and crumpling up. The oil I used was olive oil (which google says has a smoke point of 190-200°C). What is that? Live and learn? You've been warned.
