I have used this now for at least 4years .i am now 90 but this flour allows me to still have good home made bread Thankyou
Purchased when no yeast or flour available. Worked really well in my bread maker producing a good texture and flavour.
I had never made bread before, but recently bought the small bread maker, and these bread mixes were recommended. For the small bread maker, only half a packet is needed, but it is very easy to use, and the bread is delicious. There is a nice crisp crust, and the crumb is lovely and soft. I have experimented by adding seeds and nuts, and can’t imagine I will be buying bread in the future. It is a real treat to eat really fresh, tasty whole meal bread.
I have found brown bread mixes can be a disaster so was dubious to try this. The first loaf I made seemed very dry in the dough stage and didn't seem to mix well at all. I added just a small amount of additonal water and it looked great. The problem was, it was too great! It rose amazingly but then fell flat when it cooked. Lesson learned. The next time I gritted my teeth and did it exactly as per instructions and kept my fingers crossed. The result was a beautiful loaf, perfectly formed and very tasty.
