Perfect for quickly making a freshly-baked white loaf in your own home, and filling the kitchen with that lovely aroma of bread in the process, this White Bread Mix from Carrs contains 10 individual mixes and they’re suitable to use in a bread machine, too.
Carrs' 170 years of bread-making experience has gone into these mixes, and the proof is in the full flavour and wonderful, light texture that's easily achieved. Not to mention the numerous compliments they've received from celebrated cooks.
Each mix contains the exact amount to bake a 1½lb (700g) loaf, and we're pleased to say they're made in Silloth, here in Cumbria.

This bread mix makes bread making easy. 1 bag of mix, 25g knob of butter and 305ml of water into my Panasonic bread maker on Programme 1 set at large and crusty and in 4hours 5 minutes I have a loaf which when carefully cut with a Carrs bread knife (also recommended), provides a daily lunchtime sandwich for a week. I normally let the bread rest for 24 hours, slice it and then freeze it.

I have used Carr’s strong flour for many years and have never produced a bad loaf. It cuts well, toats, and keeps soft and fresh. However, it is so tasty it never seems to last very long! I would recommend this product very highly
