Lakeland Flat Clothes Airer

As an airer for drying jumpers flat it works absolutely as intended, I can’t fault it on that. However, there’s clearly a knack for getting it folded neatly, and it’s a knack I don’t possess - despite multiple attempts the best I can achieve is a weird twisted bulging lump. The instructions say to twist then fold, which is easier said than done when it’s trying to jump out of your hands like a greased weasel. Perhaps a video would help?

I totally agree with the previous reviewer. This looks like it will be a useful dryer, but trying to twist and fold is seriously hard - it jumps about all over the place. It seems it is critical how you hold your hand at the bottom.

This dryer is excellent, lots of drying space, sturdy, box to keep it in when not in use. Everything I wanted BUT we cannot master folding it up for storage. As suggested by another reviewer, an online video might help.

The dimensions of this airer were not as expected. The dimension labelled height turned out to be the width (or length if you measure that way). This meant the airer was much larger than I expected and too large for my space. Also, as other reviews have said it is very difficult to fold down. In fact I couldn't do that and had to return it open in a large plastic bag. I couldn't have returned by post. No problem with return in the shop though. No fuss and pleasant service as always from Lakeland so I feel confident to purchase from Lakeland in store or online.

I purchased this airer to dry jumpers and delicates, as it is v difficult to fing something suitable online. The airer itself is huge. The carabiner did not fit over my shower rail, and the airer itself was hugely difficult to fold up, it took me about 45 minutes to fold it up, as demonstrated in the photograph. As it did not fulfil my expectations, I returned the item to a Lakeland store and was offered a full refund.
